The one 8,512
She should be fine but do you think she's well grown and mature enough to handle it ? 1 Quote Link to post
CraignTod 278
people can say what they like, but ive got 2 ferrets which i started at only 3 months, only on a few sets, had a few rabbits bolting but they where never really hanging on the back of it, it wasnt until they were about 6 months that they really got the job done, getting em to bolt with a ferret in tow! 5.5 months should be fine, but i think it will need a few goes before it knows what its doing! its a bit of a maze down there! 1 Quote Link to post

warda64 0
she maybe too young at the age she is now, if she enters a stop end, she may get a good kicking to put her off. I have two gills which are a year now, are ready as adults to work.. Quote Link to post
Stretch177 39
I've been fortunate when I've got young ferrets that I am able to leave them a full year or at least about 9 months before I work them! Don't know if it's just luck but the 4 current ferrets I use, 3 hobs, a Jill are top workers and have another 2 Jill's to work this year, that have been left for a full year aswell! There first trip will be on Friday afternoon so will hopefully get a few. If you only have them, then give them a whirl and see how they get on, but I've found most just want to play about at that age Quote Link to post
