Brewman 1,192
so what they seen the coin an joined ranks,i have protestant friends,an there sound as a pound, but ireland is irish not britishSo if they did, I know of a few who joined the British instead of the Irish army for more adventure and also for better career. The last time it was a United Ireland was under Brian Boru.
morton 5,368
Ireland is Irish in the South, its Irish in the North and proud to be British, irrespective of what the scum may have you believe. There is a proud history of Loyal Irishmen and their soveirenty, fact."no surrender" as Paisley oft quoted.

Brewman 1,192
If there was a United Ireland in the morning both sides of the border would be in meltdown. We can dwell in the past but feeling bitter won't help. People aren't getting murdered or injured wholesale so that's a start. Ireland north and south has their problems but we don't have an islamists problem like mainland UK.
