My cousin left the Republic to live in Britain for work and said that Irelands f****d now due to the EU, he's now planning to move to Australia because he thinks the UK is going the same way.

If there was a United Ireland in the morning both sides of the border would be in meltdown. We can dwell in the past but feeling bitter won't help. People aren't getting murdered or injured wholesale so that's a start.
