Decathlon Boots. Anyone Tried Them

Just seen an add for hunting boots for £30. Just been on the decathlon website and there are loads. So before I pay out 150 for some lowa's , has anybody tried the decathlon range?

Quechua is their homebrand and it's no bad. I was in there the other day looking at some of the boots and wondered that myself. I've bought loads if stuff from Decathalon Inc a spear gun and a licence to use it pmsl

Just to add all their thermal and fleece type gear I've used in the mountains when skiing and that is easily as good as the top of the range stuff which is a 1000% more expensive

I bought a pair of trainers from there on sat,,,only 10.99,,, comfy as ,,,well pleased with my cheap purchase,,,I've had there fleeses and as mush said,,there great,,,,

 

Was looking at a pair of hiking gloves,, thin soft shell type material ,,,only 3 quid,,looked great for ferreting ,,but I don't think waterproof ...

Rew, if you do end up buying lowa, you will get them on ebay get the army ecw ones there gortex with vibram soles and only 50 quid excellent buy

My mate bought a pair of Quechua boots from them for 40 quid , didn't break them in and done the west highland way at the tail end of winter no problem, another mate that sometimes lamps with me got boots that look like trainers with high ankles made for snow same make Quechua and he's been out with me loads an always keeps dry feet

Its a handy place, odd few things ive had to take back - no quible money back. Get my cartridges from their too.

Dad brings me back a hunting magazine from france. I cant read it because it in French but It was advertising hunting gear from decathlon . Cheers chaps. Will nip down there soon and have a look and try.

Prefer the Lowa boot tbh. good reliable boots. They are doing the mountain gtx at £100 at the minute. only drawback is the colour. olive. But mine are a muddy brown colour now

The decathlon range constitutes of said brands anyway even their own brand comes with a decent warranty and reading the technical info has all the making for a decent boot infact, their whole hunting range there is bargains to be had....

I bought some last year, they're like a rigger boot with a zip up side, I really can't fault them. Great tread, warm and waterproof. I think they were about £25
