Bull&Ferret 12
The report suggested that 150 dogs have been saved but 40 perished. Bad news when one dogs home is housing 140 dogs, I thought this country was a nation of animal lovers. The antis/rent-o-mob constantly go on about greyhounds getting a raw deal before and after racing, I think their campaigns would be better aimed at the pet owning public. Also what is going through a young lads mind to set fire to a dogs home? Sick.

northern lad 2,292
Hope the b*****d gets what he deserves....been round this place a couple of times with people looking for a dog,its truly one of the most depressing places Ive been,I suppose its no different to any other shelter but my god it was depressing ,pen after pen of animals that once were the apple of someones eye and now dropped in there ,my friend looked at a few dogs,a Neopolitan Mastiff "grew too big" for its owners a lurcher that "wouldn't stop chasing things" finally settling on a Dogue de Bordeuux/Rottie,again the previous owner stating it was too big, when will people start buying whats suited to them rather than what they like the look of....said friend later passed the dog on as it was "guarding" anything and everything it was near, and so it goes on

Chr15j 59
Shocking But I wish those donating were so inclined to donate that money instead to Children's charities in uk rather than for dogs! Personally I cannot ratify an animal charity getting money over a human interest one! Many companies, mine inc have a human interest policy when it comes to charities.
