DO YOU HAV A DUMMY FOR HIM? IF NOT TRY MAKING A DUMMY HE LOVES TO CHASE AND BRING BACK,(RETRIEVE),AS YOU HAVE DONE THIS A FEW TIMES PRETEND TO THROW IT 1 WAY BUT THROW IT BEHIND YOU WHEN HE REALISES YOU DONT HAVE IT ENCOURAGE HIM TO FIND IT "WERE IS IT" AND SO ON,THATS HOW I KEEP MY DOG BUSY WHEN NOT HUNTING.WHEN WE ARE HUNTING IF I SEE 1 THAT HE CANT AN I ENCOURAGE HIM TO FIND IT SAME AS WITH HIS DUMMY HE LISTENS TO ME RUNNING ABOUT SCANNING SNIFFING UNTIL HE CHASES IT, THATS WHAT I DO MATE GIVE IT AGO,GIVE IT A FEW WEEKS BUT HEY MY DOG LIFTS QUITE ALOT WITH HIS NOSE THAT MY MATES 1/8TH COLLIE GREY COULDNT, AS SHE SCANS MOST OF THE TIME, BUT TOGETHER THEY MAKE A GREAT TEAM,HOPE IT WORKS FOR YOU,LET ME KNOW HOW IT GOES,CHEERS ,HAPPY HUNTING

could someone help how do i get my bed/whippet looking for rabbits with its eyes and not its nose.i am a novice at this and have no mentor. :wallbash:

That's a good thing imo. a dog using its nose! When a dog can't see the rabbit it should use its nose. Remember just because you can see the rabbit at five or six feet tall it doesn't mean your dog can at 20" off the ground
