Telemetry Query..

Hi all,My names Ian from East Sussex, im new to this forum and have a question about how you track your birds,ive been looking at expensive systems on ebay and have found a gps system that you follow on a smart phone via google maps(sorry if this has been asked before)but ive also found the same system they use for tracking stolen motorcycles,its the size of a matchbox and costs about twenty quid(about 150quid cheaper then the others).my question is has anybody tried these alternative systems already and if so how did you get on?..

I wouldn't trust them, if you've no signal on your phone your in trouble. I went only 20 mins from my house shooting today and didn't have a single bar all way round

And the 1s for a motorcycle are probably to heavy to mount on a bird

Go for a normal set Marshall tinyloc lakander and I'd buy from a main dealer rather than ebay

Until the technology gets better and they get smaller keep away from them, and get traditional telemetry.
