Guest Macnas
Hard luck lads, you should try and discover a way to preserve J Wilkinson for another few years, or maybe clone him.
Missie 1
Well I am proud to be English tongiht. For a team that were written off from the start of this competition they have done pretty well! I will admit that I didn't think that England would come through the group stages but they did us proud! A team is made up of more than just one man and much as I rate Jonny as a player (I could also do very naughty things to him) there are 14 other men behind him making up that squad and he has had far too much emphasis and pressure laid on him for far too long... smudgersmith 2
The boy's did our country proud tonight, they showed guts, determination and gave it 100% but the better team one. A least we (English) can look back with pride at their successes, unlike you inbreed coal diggers who pride yourselfs on being Rugby's elite, where did you come. errrr ho yes FECKING NO WHERE. !!!! Go back to the same exspansive rugby you talk so much about ( without actually winning anything ) and we see you in the Five Nations with your new coach and coaching staff. ( how many is it now. ) Well done the Boks
apollo 9
trouble is if you build yourself up you will get shot down, and you do like to build yourself right up
mole catcher 1
as with most team games, those who play better on the night will win. Well done the Bocs but it wasnt the slaughter you all thought it would be huh? I thought both teams played a good game but also to show the sprit of the game both sets of fans shared in the fact they were actuly in the final, unlike football
Malt 379
All the banter aside, congratulations to England on reaching the final of the rugby world cup twice in a row. What makes the U.k a great country, is the fact that 4 totally different countries live side by side, and can take a lot of stick off one another and not take it too seriously. It's been great having a laugh with all of you, over the last couple of days, we'll see you at the Six nations!
apollo 9
you had to mention the six nations, now they will kick our arses again

mad al 146
this thread has entertained no end and it was started by me with hopefully this being the end product and restoring some faith into how forums should be ............banter, a chat and having a laugh. The more serious topics can sometimes become too serious, so then I like to pile in a thread like this, even this thread has got a bit "serious" for some and with that in mind I'll say:- Folks, it's only a feckin game!!!! , enjoy it FFS Edited October 21, 2007 by mad al
