So the weekend was finally here, after the Dymented auction where Clive (Jonah) plus his brother Dave and Rob had bid £400.00 to come down for a weekend of sea kayak fishing and a nights wild camp.. T

Top weekend Kev. All the kit is washed and sorted and I'm now back to the day job!! Clive and the gang made the weekend a lot easier and the fishing couldn't have been better....except for me being the only one not to catch a bass!! Suppose the wrasse made up for it at the end though.

Cheers lads,

John, we gave Clive the night off.... Dave took over lol.. The bass went down well, couldn't of been fresher.

Tomo, we'll have a look next summer and see if we can sort something, I'm sure you'd love it mate, and you can bring cakes lol

Bob, we were quite lucky how it panned out, everyone caught and it was nice that the non-fisherman caught the biggest bass, I was made up for him, and a fair bit relieved myself after I said we should catch some bass lol..

Geth,

The wrasse was a cracker mate, gutted about the photo, we'll get on the bass again before the winter hits. Got a few more places we could try, and I'm keen on a couple of winter trips for the cod on kayaks... Could be interesting!!

That would be cracking if you could hit into a few cod on a kayak.

Great write up Kev.

What doesn’t come across in the write up though is the amount of hard work and planning that you and Geth put into making the weekend the success it was.

The Kit, bait, locations, knowledge and instruction that was laid on was of a standard that far out weighed our expectations.

Kev’s sea fishing experience and local knowledge coupled with Geth’s professional instruction, planning and safety awareness made for a very slick weekend.

The Craic was top notch, lots of laughs, no one getting the hump, we really couldn’t have asked for a better weekend. We were talking about next years possibilities long before the weekend had come to a close lol!

In summary, if you ever get the chance to get out with Kev or Geth, take it!. You wont regret it.

The lads really know their stuff and go the extra mile to put you at ease and on the sport.

Thanks Again.

Clive
