My reply to any nosy vet would be simply be, 'I don't know, it was bought off the net and if you want to carry on asking I can go and spend my money elsewhere!'

if they're that worried about a docking cert, you defiitely wouldn't want to take an injured working dog in there IMO

I had a vet say to me , I see the puppies tail is docked ( no shit ) .

 

Simply told the vet i bought the dog off an Irish traveller from county Mayo who just happened to bring a litter of JR pups back over here with him.

 

Conversation over, injections administered, never mentioned again in future visits
