Robbo1234 2
Hi I was just wondering whether you could swap the bolt to the left hand side on the bsa ultra so that it suits cack handers like me? Or can you get ultras in a left handed stock? Quote Link to post

Someone like rowan engineering etc might make a left handed bolt.. the stock had a cheekpiece on both sides so apart from the upside down bolt it would still be left hand friendly Quote Link to post
Rez 4,961
Might of posted on this in another forum. Skot. I 'think' you can just mirror the bolt so to speak, like turn it round so it's literally the other way... Regarding the pull up and back motion, it's might f'kit up. I thought about doing it with my own SE. I know there is a way. Perhaps the rowan way. Quote Link to post
Skot Ruthless Teale 1,701
I mean like the s200 has a 'straight' bolt handle bit.. but the ultra is curved downwards to the right so if you change it round to the left it will curve upwards.. am i making sense? Lol Quote Link to post
SimonC_Here 36
There is a strip guide on AGF if you are a member: http://www.airgunforum.co.uk/forums/showthread.php/176287-BSA-Ultra-SE-Single-Shot-Stripdown-Guide Might help you to see what needs to be done. From the pics there is something to stop you rotating the bolt in the other direction as you would have to do if you just flipped the bolt handle over. so I don't think it's going to be simple unless you go with Skot's curving upwards bolt. Adam1010 0
On my bsa I switched it over and it was literally just a case of switching it round. Seems to be working fine for me. Only trouble is now the safety's on the wrong side :/ Quote Link to post
