Bigger area means bigger area to mark out as territory. then theres the larger amount of ferrets in a court, not every one will want to go it the same place, especially if its dirty already. 2 Quote Link to post

I found I had to time the cleaning out carefully ie too late and they said, "This corner's too messy; we'll go elsewhere," but too frequently and they didn't settle to using one spot.
