Elliott 436
I have an opportunity to buy a good condition Wildcat Predator 8 moderator for £75 but the only problem is that it's the wrong thread size. As I understand it's quite easy to convert the threads but I'm not sure how much is costs. My questions are: 1. I understand the mod can be taken to bits. What's the name of the part that needs to be changed and how much is it to buy new. I've had a look at the Wildcat site and found a part called 'Bridge' - is this the right one?: http://www.shopatukcs.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=&products_id=2072 2. Do you think anyone would be interested in swapping threads?! - Long shot I know! 3. The mod is proofed for 308, will it be much louder than one proofed for .223? My Tikka .223 needs an 18x1 thread whereas this mod is currently 5/8 UNF Just weighing up my options.. Thanks Quote Link to post

RogerTheCat 3
I had to phone UK Custom Shop Ltd about a part for my wildcat mod and the service was fantastic. I was told the part would be there the next day and it was. Give them a call I am sure they will be happy to help. Edited September 7, 2014 by RogerTheCat Quote Link to post
