AIRGUNNER 1
A fish of 89lb has been landed from Luke Moffatt’s Gravieres fishery. The huge mirror known as the Scarred Mirror was caught by Birmingham angler Paul Meredith. It should be in the news next week wont be long now till we hit the 100lb mark Quote Link to post

J Darcy 5,871
Quite unbeleivable....i remember when a "twenty" was most carp anglers dream..... The popularity of HNV baits has made carp grow like never before, not always a good thing, but an impressive catch never-the-less. I bet he had to put the hours in to get that lump...... I have been through the carping stage, but these days i would much rather trot a worm down the local stream for 6 ozs brownies than sit behind a trio of carp rods on buzzers..... Carping seems to have lost its "magic",its mystery.... Are carp anglers fishing for the "fish" .....or for the weight of the fish?.... Barbel now seem to be the new "carp" and the record will undoubtedly spiral up and up...... Good fishing........JD Quote Link to post
