villaman 9,983
You will find most of the noise is coming from the hammer. Which huggett are you going for ? 1 Quote Link to post
carlo5983 11
Just a daystate hard case Liam . And am gonna go for the Millbro huggett standard flat end or one of the belita huggett ones not sure yet rang up about them today and he said the both as good as each other just one is a lot cheaper and shorter were the standard one will probs look better on the gun Quote Link to post
villaman 9,983
Had the belita one on mine , but like I said most of the noise comes from the hammer ,the belta looks nice though 1 Quote Link to post

Seamaster 153
It looks great mate. They are a fantastic looking rifle. I just can't help thinking, and it's through experience, that you've bought a great looking, distinctly average rifle. If it works for you, after all the advice on this thread, then fair play. Good luck mate. When that second rabbit runs off, and you've spunked £150 on a Huggett, you'll realise that the Harper hammer is a very loud device. Sorry I can't be more enthusiastic, been there, done that, bought a Weihrauch. Chris 1 Quote Link to post
Rez 4,961
'Distinctly average'? It's a quality set up a regal. Whatever people say about Daystate being wank. It's only the bad stories you get on here. For every there 'shit' story, there's a Daystate and huntsman/regal owner larfffin that there DS is performing, or they are as the case maybe. Everyone's got 100's. Two a penny, it's a good thing, don't get me wrong, but any pcp over the 650 mark will only be let down by the shooter. Does that make you a distinctly average shooter? jokes. 1 Quote Link to post
carlo5983 11
Cheers Chris no what you saying but if you hit a rabbit any way the one next to it will run weather it's whisper quiet or not. Av used me mate hw100 a few times when a was out and a tryed one today still never like it all theo a great gun but always thought my s410 always kicked it's arse when out on shoots with my friend a just really wanted a change lot of people say it's a very good rifle sum don't manly hw100 owners lol if you look for problems you can find a lot on the net about the hw100 as well av looked about a lot trust me and went to see the lad at the gun shop who a new and he again said get the regal .but up to now mate it's working spot on groupings are lovely and it's nice n light gonna try it on a shoot in a few days or so see what it gets me. 1 Quote Link to post
