bobcullen79 1,495
Ive just had to knock one on the head with real similar problems. Mine started a while back, couldnt go the loo properly, but was still eating and drinking. I tried all sorts to ease her stomach, eggs, oily fish, milk of mag and also a bit of cows milk. She seemed to be getting better and putting on a little weight. But sadly it wasnt to be, symptoms returned worse a few days ago and her legs were on the way out. She had stopped eating and couldnt drink, so I done the right thing, there was no way I was taking her the vet for a jab in the stomach, by all accounts, its not a nice way to go. Quote Link to post
Bosun11 537
My Jill from last year has gone the same, I left her barren this year and was gifted a kit as I should have gotten two in the first place but best grub, clean etc but she's really lost weight and condition, though the kit is thriving.... The one 8,530
First thing you checked her teeth ? if your putting grub in and shes only eating some of it , it sounds like she has detal problems then take her to a vet it may be easy cured Quote Link to post

Bail82 1
I'd have to disagree with you dogger. I know ferrets are lactose intolerant but my 2 previous ferrets had cows milk for years without any effects on them. Quote Link to post

I wanted it to give it the shits, to try and clear it out as it was having trouble going. Quote Link to post

Maybe a slight increase in the winter , if only you didn't need a PhD in feckin computers to put pics up on this sight , I'd put some up , this really does need sorting mods : ) , Quote Link to post

First hit more reply options to start your post, then from there use the browse button to find the picture you want from your pc. When you select one double click it and it should drop to the bottom of your post, hit the Attach This File button and then Add To Post Button and you should be there! As for the ferret, my Jill's teeth are fine and she eats well but is in a terrible state with weight, this is not loosing puppy fat, there is nothing left of her she is skin and bone, yet lively and not sickly. As I said, I left her barren this year and then introduced two kits which she became all neurotic about, constantly dragging them into the sleeping quarters and going mad to stash any foods given.
