good king henry 10 Posted September 6, 2014 Report Share Posted September 6, 2014 I'm getting them purely for big leads for when I'm out for pheasant because I'm not the best of a shot and the 9.5 won't be enough really without a head shot you'll be better off with 5080 or looped 2050 more power in them, but even then i would only go for the head or neck. .338winmag 78 Posted September 6, 2014 Report Share Posted September 6, 2014 Mostly useing 2050 doubles on natural forks an either river pebbles er marbles for shots ,will use .440 or .445 lead ball to hunt our forrest grouse though ,and like pheasent's need a head er neck shot to anchor em imo .
