Dranny GLC 112
When trainning a pup on the lamp do you use wide beam or tight beam? Cheers Quote Link to post
Maximus Ferret 2,063
I use a wider beam for a pup than I'd use with a more experienced dog. Pups tend to lose sight of the rabbit after it turns and until they learn that they'll always find it in the beam, a wider beam helps IMO. Quote Link to post

tjones3862 3,423
BOTH WIDE AND TITE a wide beam but not a crazy wide beam,, when the dogs running,,,, it light,s up any danger,,,infront of the dog,,,,all pups are full on, ,,,,,when your sliping the the dog then put your hand over part of the lamp, to kill the beam ,so just the bunny is in the beam,,, Edited September 4, 2014 by tjones3862 1 Quote Link to post
