does anyone know how to adjust trigger on remmy 700..??

think there is a little screw behind the trigger, or you have to take the action out of the stock to get to it.

thanks, i did find that screw (cross headed) but i cannot get it to turn...i dare not put too much pressure on, but now i know what it is i will have anoither go...cheers

Its a very skilled man who can get a remmy trigger down to 2 1/2 lbs safely, the safe way is junk the trigger, and put a rifle basix or jewell in, they are designed to work at those weights.

f**k the sportsman, they are a shower, try my mate, he,s got timneys, and rifle basix [ all three pull weights] on the shelf, South Yorkshire Shooting Supplies, on 01226 756332, the sportsman are great at advertising stuff, at knockdown prices, when you ring, they havent got it, its happened to me , 4 times.

A good safety check for any one adjusting triggers is as follows:

 

Clear rifle

Cock apply safety

Squeeze trigger

release safety

Give the but a sharp tap against the ground

 

The rifle should not go off.
