Anyone experience one of these? Been vets yesterday but im going to another today for a second opinion because i dont agree with the immediate diagnosis of lungworm. Its such a minor little puff with the occasional reverse sneeze that i haven't really been worried until yesterdays diagnosis.

It's probably been about 7 weeks now but most days he'll only do it once or twice and it very rarely becomes a gag. Its completely dry, doesn't sound as if there's any fluid in the lungs which doesn't fit with any of the possible causes I've read about. Hes been worked this week had some minute and a half and 2 minute runs and this hasn't caused any coughing and neither has his daily free run.

Been suggested it could be something small stuck in his throat, a small split in his trachea or even just a season cough which is what i assumed it was.

Any ideas

edited to add, hes been treated with advocate a week ago and will be again in another week

Alright pal, one of my dogs had got a slight cough under it's breathe it that makes sense took her to the vet she didn't really know what it was... So she treated her for kennel cough. But said she wasn't wholly certain it was that. She said her lungs were clear too. Mines been advocated as well. And this dog has started like panting out corner of it's mouth which it never used too?

Yours like this at all ?

Yeah man, I'm not overly worried, like this dog never pants when we're road walking or cycling and just recently it has like said from corners of mouth. And that's why I thought she weren't 100% keep me posted pal! Cheers
