For years ive lamped / day time walked fields on my pals permission which have bullocks in.

You can pretty much guarantee as soon as they clock you they are into you. Following you round trying to head but you, my arse nips every time as you always get one getting a little too close for comfort. We just remain calm and carry on as normal but it unnerves me every time in around them.

They are very inquisitive of the dogs and have seen them trying to kick/trample the terriers before. All our dogs are bomb proof around stock so don't bat an eye lid but the bullocks almost goad the dogs on trying to get a response.. Strange beasts...

cows are lots worse when they have calfs at foot as they think dogs are going to attack calfs like a wolf would dairy cattle all thow handled more often [ 2/3 times a day] can be the worse and a freisan bull is allways bad news most beef breeds are ok bus charilays [the white ones ] can be buggers and as a rule of thumb if and cattle run at you and you are down hill from them they prob wont be able to stop and go in to you lol

used to work on a farm and have seen cows with calfs run straight through three strand barbed wire fences full pelt to get to the neighbouring farms spaniels when the lad was walking them
