I don't see it as grassing up a bloke but more of saving some poor kid from the hell that's happening to him/her or other poor kids in the future ... I know what Gnasher is saying ... He doesn't need the law involved and would rather hand out street justice and I am sure that would f**k the nonce up more than the law would BUT once he has healed and moved city, county whatever he will just start again and some other poor child will go through hell at his hands ... If I was honest with myself no I wouldn't same as I couldn't when I found out the piece of shit up the road was keeping his wife at knifepoint and battering her when he felt like it ... But as I said I would worry that afterwards he would just up sticks and move to a new place and start again and then all I will have done is satisfy myself and help one kid when he would go on to abuse others ... But I suppose if enough damage was inflicted on him so he couldn't do it again then that would be a win win situation ... Now I have heard it said that a thin glass tube covered in some nasty stuff slid down a mans japs eye down to the bottom of the shaft then snapped in multiple places can have a very detrimental effect on a mans appendage rendering it useless for the rest of time ........

Gnash, while I agree with your sentiments, as Kay stated there is sometimes smoke without fire. As the general public we do not have the resources to check or confirm the accusations. As Socks stated once they are on the radar it is a lot easier to keep tabs on them. By reporting your suspicions you are making people aware.

Informing the police about a peado is the same as phoning the fire brigade when someone's house is on fire, I personally wouldnt class that as grassing because you are acting selflessly. To me a grass is someone who benefits from their actions either to get themselves out of trouble by getting someone else in it, for petty, spiteful reasons or for financial gain.
