How Do You All Relax Your Dogs After A Good Night Or Day Working

Hello I'm just wondering how you all during your dogs hunting trip how do you bring it out of the stiffening stage ,I like to take blade out for a mini hunt where he not under any pressure to purfom but work to relax his muscles so he doesn't get any strains

Our lass dosnt like lamping so the stake is out the window haaaa

How does he know he's not under pressure to perform?

I am just curious does washing their feet really help? I have never done this before or heard of it before. I give my dogs a rubdown after a big night and of course a good feed but I would imagine washing their feet regularly would actually soften them. Please correct me if I am wrong.
