Dunno what happened for him to kick off inside but sounds like his game and won't give in. Even when it would be a whole lot better to keep your head down do your bird and get out. Can someone who's been inside that long just be let out? Got a family friend who done over 13 years. Been out about 15 now and he still is abit strange. Can't stay in a room for too long or sit down. Don't think he even notices it and of course he can only talk about the times when younger. He still sort of struggles to understand his mates don't still all hang out together and have their own families.

I have no idea what the real man is like at all, he may be a very nice dude, however I can't help but feel that anyone who wanted to change their name to "Charles Bronson" and has wound up doing a lifetime behind the door when they originally went in for a 7 stretch and would have been out in 4 for no other reason than not screwing their loaf........well, we would not have much in common to talk sense about.

 

However, anyone who knows someone that has truly become institutionalised will tell you it's a very sad thing to see........some great old boys have literally become mumbling wrecks

You almost feel ashamed of yourself for not viewing them the same way when you talk to them.

 

Still, you choose your life I suppose so you can't ask folk to feel sorry for you.

him being away so long his is own doing he was/.will never beat the system when he was younger he most likely enjoyed his reputation like changing his name to bronson but he only has him self to blame but i could see thoses screws winding him up daily just to get a reaction
