Here's another theory.... Perhaps he's being telling folk that your dog is actually his for however long on Facebook etc, and now with the season starting up, perhaps someone who he's told the dog is his has organised a day/night out to see the dog run, the lad perhaps sees what he's done as the only option to get out of it?

Here's another theory.... Perhaps he's being telling folk that your dog is actually his for however long on Facebook etc, and now with the season starting up, perhaps someone who he's told the dog is his has organised a day/night out to see the dog run, the lad perhaps sees what he's done as the only option to get out of it?
