Ads 39
The wire can be a leveller at times, few people get to work their mutts unscathed from the attention of it.Jabbing dogs each and every time they get a nick is false security, its rarely needed when a quick wash with an appropriate agent, saltwater etc.,that will benefit the mutt more, especially when the time arrives that the dog genuinely needs Antibiotics.Very true. Never gave mine antibiotics. Just gave it a good clean with hibiscrub when she did it then made sure I just kept it clean till it healed Quote Link to post
whitefeet4190 1,729
Yer I understand [BANNED TEXT] ur sayin Morton and I don't normally jab dogs unless I think there is risk of infection but it was rusty barbed wire and the whole barb got stuck in his leg and was poking out the other side and because he had been trying to pull away from it I just thought it might cause infection so hence the penecillin but I agree far to many people reach for antibiotics straight away, I always wash my dogs if they get a bit knocked up and it's surprising how less the swelling g is the next day Atb Quote Link to post
