Popular Post Mister Gain 1,764
The rabbits are well under control at my permission, so I don't get down there so much lately. I know some do pest control as a job, and not as a hobby/passtime. Just wondered what others do alongside hunting? I used to make solid hardwood furniture for a while and I go coarse fishing occasionally, nowhere near the amount I used to. When I retired I had a go at watercolour painting for a while but that faded away when I started hunting. I have recently started having a go with oil paints and canvas. I asked permission off one of the dog men on here if I could use some of his photos for reference, and he agreed. He's not too far away and he came round a week ago. Good to meet him and put a face to a name. Here's a few of the paintings I have done, I know they are a bit niaive, but are painted for my enjoyment as a hobby.

Born Hunter 17,763
There's a Yorkshire lass that I follow on Instagram, Coral Rose, very talented artist that does a lot of dogs and country/sporting work. If you like art, check her out. I try and keep in shape, lifting twice a week and running once. Also shoot work to do all year. House work seems like a never ending job. Bosun11 537
I don't have time for hobbies and by hobbies I see them as things like model making and such like. I don't see hunting as a hobby either, I've been at it so long it's more a way of life(!), I'm sure like many others, wherever I may be, one eye and half a brain is always cocked toward it...!! I do enjoy gardening though but again, is that a hobby because owning one means it 'needs' to be done and a unkempt garden is fecking trampy in my book!!

Mister Gain 1,764
That's it lads, keep them coming, I find it interesting knowing what others get up to... I'm a nosey b*stard @ Paulus, when I take photos of my paintings, they never do the paintings justice, colours don't quite come out as per the original. I use a Nikon D60 on a tripod, due to old wobbly shaky arms. Have tried flash on ?(useless) flash off (as per these photos), portrait setting(same as flash off). I try not to get the sun behind as it shows up the frame... any tips?
