I've never had the green card always the white supervisor card with my trade on it? And seem to be getting asked for that (with the trade on it) more and more? It's a carry on as far as I'm concerned

Think it's all changed check the cscs website. Only know as I got my brothers mate a job and he needed it. Think it's meant to make it harder for those who come here and just grab a labouring job.

green was usually semi skilled, ive a gold one in joinery blue was for labouring, its only another way of getting money from ya i wouldnt worry too much about it

Mine is a gold one aswell but in scaffolding lol the money thay charge is shocking but the company I work for paid for mine so I carnt complain

I used to have a green one but when I done the test January they give me a blue one instead

blues a better colour anyway richie lol you will go places now mate lol

I like blue better too plus it says skilled on it I just hope they don't inspect my work lol

When you say I wouldn't worry about it then I'd say you should. Cause if you've not got a CSCS card you'll not get on some sites.

And when you do go for your test I'd do a bit studying as well. 3 of us went for the test and I was the only one to pass first time. If the guys never passed the second time we were up shit creek for getting on the job. Lucky they did.

Most sites I've been on won't let you on without cscs\cpcs card they photocopy them for prof it's to cover there own backs
