Here is my cz 452 American been out to try zero it in was shooting about 1 1/2 inch groups at 100 yards would like a smaller group but wind was playing up abit too so will try on a wind free day

Yeah they're trying to get rid of those mountmasters mate as they're problematic and keep braking.

They're part of the come with rifles a lot of rfds are trying to sell.

Will think about different glass need to look at mod as it says for 22lr on it

1 1/2" isn't too bad at 100 yards, especially in the wind. Make sure you can get them all touching at 50 yards and you should be OK.

 

As an aside - .22 lr is more affected by the wind than .17 hmr's.

What ammo are you using?

 

Give the Eley Subs a try, very good ammo

Very nice mate you'll love it. I agree with Elliott try eley subs. I use winchester subs as they are £2 a box cheaper here although eley are slightly more accurate.

 

 

Also try lapua (SK) subs and RWS subs. they are preety good ammo through my old Brno mod2

Cant beat the cz 452 , mines with synthetic stock though and an edgar bros sirocco mod , its quieter than my silenced airarms boro.

I zero mine in at 75 yrds , try this you will get tighter patterns and then you will learn how to compensate at varying ranges , but whatever have fun , and practice before you try on any bunnies .

In that case you should be getting much better groups than that but I suppose the gun is still new to you.

 

Zero at 100yards and should be getting 3/4inch groups at 100yards. Just got rid of my hmr as I have no use for it now I have a CF

Yes I'll try on a day with no wind it was on and off very strong gusts then calm then back to strong at least it's not far out just a couple of clicks and should be sorted
