The best thing about that day was,,,,me and max had been invited for a days coursing,,,I didn't realise it was a compition when we turned up,,until the host Chris moyes told us,,,I thought feck it,,,might as well enter,,,it was great day,,big breaky in the farm house,,,stop for lunch loads of food and drink again,,,and the same when we finished,,,yeh great days we had out there with the windmill coursing club

That was buster giro,,,,he was a great little dog I loved watching.. I can't remember if mine was the only none sal cross that day ,,,

 

Yeh I have a few other pics from those days,,,not just windmill cup days,,,but days out with the windmill club,,,I wasn't a member sadly,,as I only just met them a few year befor it all got banned,,,but they were great days,,,and loads of banter and great to see some good dogs running,,,

 

Befor that final ,,,with Geoff Ogden slipping,,,Sally had knocked out Chris moyes dog splodge,, in the semi,,,mind she was lucky I think cos had it gone on splodge would have proberbly done her,,,,but she turned quicker on the first turn and killed,,,so game over

Yeh I got Sally and Visa in sept 2002,,, visa was 9 week old,,,,Sally was 2 year old,,,yeh befor that all my lurchers were just lurcher to lurcher bitsa types

 

No idea how many club members there were,,,,

On that pic of us all lined up giro,,,,I think theses 5 or 6 dogs from the same litter,,,you can see lanky there in the middle with big old dexi,,,then a good few of them on the right of the pic going over to me,,,visa is in front of me looking at my crotch,,lol,, and Sally's head is just visible behind me,,,and I think the welsh lads are nearest the building at least one of those was a litter sister,,,,is one of them Nathan max?,,,if so he's the lad that owns the greyhound that sired birds dog buck

Sorry if this is a stupid question but did all coursing clubs in England let lurchers or none pure greyhounds run or what way was it just the the clubs over here is all pure greyhounds and its only park courseing really now with the exception of a few clubs running open meets but again there pure greyhunds
