They would be good retrievers. ;)

A mate, is trying this cross, with the right breeding, for hares over here, they make very sharp up and at the types, with stamina to burn.

The one on the right is very up and at em but no good on a straight line, had a crack with the one on the left on tomos permision pre ban daytime, it was coming to the end of the season and we got about 5 runs if i remember right. The dogs didn't really have a chance but it was good crack and the dogs got some nice long runs. Would deffo do it again  I recon a tad less whippet and they would be better mate  Just to bring the size up abit.

have you got a beddy x because i yink there are one of the best cross :good:

the best dog is the one you have faith in or you wont put your best in and get your best out of regardles

of size or breed 8):whistling: :whistling:

my dogs range from 20" to nearly 30"they all have different strengths and weaknesses im very much a bullx man but i think if my grey/whip had a quater bull in it an threw dogs at around 22 id be a very happy man

bull/grey x bull/whippet .22 perfect for me im down in dartmoor very small fields, must admit i am getting drawn to smaller dog. trouble is on this site a lot of people suffer badly with kennel blindness ,there dog or type of dog is the best and everyone elses are crap ,until you have had various sizes and breeds and discover what is perfect for there individual needs for your terrain and prefered quarry.merry xmas and a happy new year to all

this is my first post so,here goes i have a 28 inch bullgrey x deerhound grey and a first x beddywhippet both dogs take everything from rat upover but the bull is my first choice for larger quarry as he gets the job done quicker plus he can cope with running in longer crops etc,but the beddy is my first choice for ferreting as he is quicker off the mark and is great for bushing,if you find any cross with heart you will be happy,
good post mate keep it up .

I actually no a lad selling a pure bred Italian greyhound pup,,,,,Dont think you can get much smaller than that, although Ive never heard of them been worked?but don't see why they couldn't do the job on small quarry such as rabbit

They would freeze to death, need stitching back together, and would most likely snap all there legs. This is not a wind up up mate, these are toy dogs, and absolutely no use for any kind of quarry.

I never say never mate, and like to keep an open mind, but i don't believe a pure Italian greyhound could tackle a mouse let alone rabbit.I'd love to be proved wrong so get them vids up
