fealeranger 1
My dad is rattling my head about sharpning a bunch of hoof knives he has at home. I made an attempt to do so with an electric hand tool I piked up at a diy store and it was not bad but still I'm not happy with it. These knives have a bend/curl at the end of the blade and they are difficult to edge so any ideas or solutions on how to master this would be really appreciated. thanks in advance, Ray. neil cooney 10,416
JMHO but anyone in to their knives should learn how to use a steel and a good stone and there's never an excuse for a blunt knife again. Electric stones etc. IMO can destroy knives and I knew one man who made a living out of using one and he was useless and wrecked good knives. I knew another fellow who work in the fish market and after letting him sharpen your knife you'd be afraid to touch it, LOL. He only used a wet stone.
