Reading through some of these posts i find it alarming how much research some of you lads have put into the Muslim faith......me i couldnt care less what Mohammed said or how old his wives were its none of my business what people do who i have absolutely nothing in common with............i remember an old NF leader years ago saying " we dont know them and we dont want to know them "...........nutty as he was it always stuck with me and i never much cared for getting to know and learn about people i dont want to be around........if folk stuck to their own instead of all this constant " tolerance " bollocks being rammed down our throats it would simplify things a lot.....cats and dogs dont get on thats just life no point trying to force it so i cant see the point in trying to understand Muslims anymore than i can understand Muslims trying to justify their ways to us...we are never going to see eye to eye so all thats left is working out how to deal with the situation.

I tell all the Muslims I am in comntact with do you think I dont get into massive disagreements with them I have even took to praying in home more than some of the the Mosques as there are lots that I dont even want to be in their company but I reiterate again all are not cast in the same mould.

if everyones mindset continues as it is on all sides yes there will be civil war not on a world scale but you will see serious violent clashes worse than anything witnessed here for centuries Enoch Powells rivers of blood speach is looking more likely by the day. The"us and them" mentality is all the communities here not just the Muslims you only have to read the majority of posts on here on similar topics. Foreigners in a strange land in my estimation and in Isalm you are there as a guest so it is obligatory to respect the law of the land this is in the Qran the only proviso is unless a law is in direect conflict with islam. If the laws of the land make it impossible for you to live there as a Muslim and follow your faith then the solution is in your hands leave, British born muslims have the same rights as everyone else they also have the same right to follow their own faith. what they dont have the right to do is to bring politics or conflicts from other parts of the world onto the streets of Britain. Perhaps I'm not looking hard enough, but, my perfectly reasonable non offensive post appears to have vanished.Perhaps someone could explain.

Desertbred, a genuine question, why are so many muslims on this island and in other countries if they find western civilisation so offensive?.

I'm all for controlled immigration and free movement (the world would be a poorer place without it) but why if muslim countries, lifestyles, laws etc are what it would seem the majority of muslims are in favour of didn't they stay where they were?.

Most Muslims live in the West for economic reasons earning capacity is higher here than in some of their countries , some facilities are also better for some of them and some reside in the West because of persecution or danger to them and their own families in there own countries. Some also unfortunately want to disrupt society for what ever reason be it for religious reasons, be it for financial gain like drug business . I dont think the majority even think about changing western society I think the major factor is financial be it business or benefits
