slipper 116
Its probably nothing but annoying, the magazine for my cz 452 is pushing the bullets up at a funny angle and shaving the lead as I try to load, is there anything I can do? Think there about 25 quid so thought I'd ask first lol Quote Link to post
paulus 26
give it a good clean and oil Quote Link to post
celticrusader 78
Right I believe the first thing to do is put it in comparison with another mag that doesn't do this, if you can see that the lip of the mag has been bent use a pair of pliers to gently alter...if all else has failed and at your own risk to damage mate. Hope your mag is metal otherwise that'll be pretty hard. Edited August 24, 2014 by celticrusader Quote Link to post

andyf 144
I had the same problem with an otherwise superb 452, it's the 10 shot Mags that are the bad ones, the 5's are fine. Sorry to say I could never 'cure' it, the only partial cure for mine was to load no more than 8 rounds. Another issue was somehow/sometimes the rim of the next lower round got in front of the one above and jammed the whole lot, the only way to resolve that was to slip the mag bottom plate off and drop the spring, follower and all the rounds through the bottom, IDEAL at night in the rain/wind. I just got a load of 5's. Quote Link to post
Cedric 132
Andyf - the rimmed cartriges on my .22 Hornet jam up like that sometimes. I'm going to cut a hole in the side so I can get a fingernail in to pull the lower round down. Quote Link to post
shropshire dan 467
I had a new 10 shot mag doing the same thing. I left it loaded for a few nights with 8 rounds to soften the spring. That worked a treat and now holds 10 no problem. I only use the 10 shot for zeroing and I have 5x 5 shots for hunting Quote Link to post
slipper 116
I'll try that dan but ten shots go quickly when driving around the stubbles, so I'd be changing mags even quicker with the fives, lol, nothing worse than putting cross hairs on bunnies bonce and ....click lol Quote Link to post
