Now that we slug Salmons no paying for trident but still reckons defense will only cost the Scots 2.5 billion after the yes vote ? Wheres the clown buying the weapons LIDI or ALDI ? How much of the UK Defence budget is spent directly in Scotland has little bearing on how well defended Scotland is. As it stands Scotland being part of the UK has the entire British military at hand to defend it. That's THE most powerful and capable military in the whole of Europe and the second most in NATO. An independant Scotland will have a small fraction of that capability. They spend 60% more than that on defence! But meh, having an extra 25% military expenditure spent in your backyard at the expense of a MASSIVE loss in capability and security is perfectly logical!
