The Seeker 3,048
IMO this is a really serious vote for you Scottish lads, there are some interesting views on the reasons why independence would be a good thing for Scotland however there is FAR too much uncertainty and too many in answered questions voting yes is nothing more than a gamble. It's like the bloke who's got fed up with his job and leaves sticking two fingers up at his boss on the way out the door, it feels great at the time but a year later when he's still un employed and broke it may not have the same feeling. If I had to vote I would be thinking what I'm going to tell my grand kids when I voted for Indepenance and it all goes tits up.
Joe1888 672
you all quick to point out the companys supporting no, what about the hundreds supporting yes? tesco said there will be no 16% rise, morrisons also said prices could also fall with a yes vote, wetherpoons wasnt all doon and gloom, aldi support yes and a few hundred more, scare sotries ( some old, just brought up again ) wont work this time. anyone mentioned that wall street banks plan to move operations from london to ireland if uk leave eu.. The Seeker 3,048
Below staement from todays news, Meanwhile, a study by Deutsche Bank said a Yes vote for Scottish independence would "go down in history as a political and economic mistake" on a par with the failures by the Federal Reserve in America that triggered the Great Depression in the 1930s. It warned that Scotland risked a similar depression if voters backed the Yes campaign on Thursday, and described the desire for independence as an "incomprehensible" one which could have negative consequences "far beyond" what people had imagined". lukey 1,621
Well glasgow city centre is alight today to say the least lol! It's like a street party for the yes voters, although I must admit I'm still pretty confident there will be a different kind of street party down there end of next week!!
