Joe1888 672
Fair play, you have to go with your gut, can't blame any man for that. My opinion, the blokes a dick leading you all down the garden path but then hey, I don't get a say ! On a personal level I really have no time for the man. He does come across as an arrogant wee smarmy toad. However I'm not basing my decision on Eck....he's already said he'd leave politics to guarantee a Yes vote and I 100% believe he would do that. your right mate its about more than the snp/ salmond... did you watch scotland tonight last night? bernad tryed the a smimlar tactic, focuss on snp/salmond however, they have done well so far with limited powers, polices thats am sure supporters and non have benefited from. No I never watched it mate......but a blind man can see that the media are truly biased up here. I get most of my info of Facebook to be honest. I have friends on both sides and it makes for some good reading. I have read shite on both sides too mind you...I like to read the informative stuff and not the biased one sided crap.

Brigzy 1,298
say i went down south and asked for 100 scottish notes in english notes, how much would i get back? Joe, I live on the English side of the border, and can well remember when we were charged a shilling in the pound to use or change scottish notes, even to this day, many shops and pups have signs saying "no scottish notes", although this is more to do with the comparative ease of forging them. On the same sort of vein; virtually all major scottish businesses have taken a major hit on the stock markets, as well as the pound dropping a cent against the dollar. This is just since the "yes" vote took a slight lead, doesn't look good.

sussex 5,777
Seems the panic is on , the Labour Party have chucked in the big guns , Gordon & Eddie , the yes camp must be rubbing their hands , it could only get better for them if the arch traitor Blair joined in . Who in their right mind would take any notice of them , it's seeming to be a lost cause sadly , we ' eck has played a canny game for sure .

tsteve9999 456
My take on it is that if it had been the Scots that had overrun England, even 300 years ago or so I'd feel the same as the lads on here are saying and want my country back as an independant nation. The Scots as a nation are socialist so it can't be a surprise that they resent people with a different mindset hundreds of miles away telling them what they can and can't do. However I've got a gut feeling that it will all go tits up in the future and not just Scotland will feel the heat from it, the rest of Britain will be burnt too. Joe1888 672
i dont agree mate, nhs protected and continued services like we have now, free prescriptions, bus pass for oap, free education etc, improved child care , better pensions, rise in minimum wage, tackle child poverty and end the need for food banks are some.. stuff thats proven we can afford, just not with uk gov controling scotlands £

Why wouldn't he want to run the country after it?Well my take on that is he'd love too.....know one can fault his passion. So much so he has said he would give it all up if that would secure independence. Know that could easily be a bluff because there's no way that scenario would pan out.I suppose it's like me saying to you Rangers will be the best team in the world next year if you promise not to go to Ibrox ever again....would you? Of course you would but your passion would still be there. Anyway once again it's been brought back to Salmond........its independence we are voting for first and foremost. Vote wisely!
