jeemes 4,484
Will the countryside alliance still represent Scotland.. Will hunting and shooting survive there with the Reds in charge?
Chr15j 59
Oh and teenagers who arnt responsible enough to make other adult decisions but can be whipped up with a free copy of braveheart and some romantic notion with no concept of the consequences of independence
Lab 10,979
Max.....leave the argument ffs. All you mention is Salmond ( who won't be in power anyway), were not voting for him to be king. And it's laughable that you use the 'immigration' angle......have you seen England lately.? Hardly got the door closed yourself have you!! We are a potentially very rich country....we know feel that Westminster are taking the piss and we are going to vote Yes to run our own wee country. If we were no benefit to the rest of the UK yours powers at be wouldn't be trying to keep us...they would have just said "piss off then" surely? I've read enough over the last few months to make me want to vote Yes....and for what reason. A fresh start. A chance to go it alone and prosper of the resources we have up here.
Joe1888 672
main stream media is known to be biased, you guys down south are getting fed some amount of crap... yous can rubbish it all you want, if you lived if up here you would see the massive growing support for yes, this isnt happening for no reason..... maybe, maybe if the no campain gave scotland something positive, might have more chance.. the amount of lies are crap being spun to try keep is is unreal... scotland has lernt from mistakes

Because two halves working as one carry more clout economically, politically and militarily than they do working as individuals.... it's that simple. We all knew which way you and your kin were voting Lab. You hate the concept of being British and Britishness, it represents English oppression. It's a chip that's beein carried by the Scots for hundreds of years. Tbh I'm sick of seeing that fractured feeling within the Union, the very hint of this referendum has brought out the worst in us all. If this vote fails to get you independance there'll be another in 5 years and so on untill one time favour swings in YES and that'll be the end of it.
Country Joe 1,411
Middle England will never vote for Milliband, so if there is a no vote, we will be stuck with the Conservatives, a party that is not wanted in Scotland.
Joe1888 672
scotland voted for more power before, but were cheated out it by rules put in place... now. probaly the biggest ever numbers will vote, for a reason.. since theres been many years of labour and torys that have led to now, if we were truly better together then we wouldnt be having this vote its time to forgot trying to be a world player, shadowing the usa, being there puppet.. time to put the country/people first its now clear, the only way we can do that, is by voting yes.. I don't think we get our fair share. And that is the real reason Westminster wants to keep us. It's funny cause you read loads of stuff, for and against and most of what people write contradict each other arguments. For example....We need to stay together and fight as one and have a large army that will defend us in wars.......ermmm we don't want to go to war!! Infact all I read is Bring the Troops home ( which I agree with by the way). So that doesn't make sense. And your right mate I don't want to be known as British....just like I'm not Irish, Australian or Japanese. I'm Scottish and proud of that, very proud. Does that make me wrong.?? You cannot draw that conclusion as you do not KNOW and have no experience of being fully independant. You'll be able to make that judgement 20, 30, 40, 50 years after independance. Good luck... I asked Joe way back, where are these immigrants going to come from ? Probably the same shitholes that are flooding Britain now !
