mushroom 13,261
If it does then so be it! But this screaming for everything now after it has been said a timeline and plan is going to be established and violence in the streets just reeks of sour grapes. Salmond is laughing all the way to the bank and the left socialist agenda of weakening the UK against the EU and others is one step further along!
lukey 1,621
Surely you can see mate that the only people to blame for the divide are scots with salmond at the helm! As for the promises you've been told you'll get them in due course along with the rest of the UK, that's fair. Isn't it?Have you seen Glasgow at the minute???? Don't blame the Yes voters mate.We had a chance to change things...yes there was a lot of uncertainty but now we are stuck with the same shite. Promises won't be made...lol...you mean politics will continue and we will on the loss again. I've never looked as myself as British, after the result and last nights antics I never, ever will. There is something in this post that stands out to me, and it goes hand in hand with all the shite that went on last night!
nothernlite 18,089
Religion again lukey staring us all in the face or should it be bitterness
mushroom 13,261
Whatever it is wee salmond has a lot to answer for, for lighting the fuse!
lukey 1,621
Yes mate it's deep down in the pit of a lot of people's stomachs on both sides a lot of people too ashamed to admit it and will deny it!
Lab 10,979
Yes mate it's deep down in the pit of a lot of people's stomachs on both sides a lot of people too ashamed to admit it and will deny it!I'll tell you one thing mate....if I want to say something I will. I'll not hide behind anything either. I'm a proud Scottish Catholic. In no way did that sway my vote on independence. It never crossed my mind. Yes lots of things I've heard spouted at me at football games makes me never want to be involved with Britain but I've spouted the same shit back....let's call it 90 min bigot!!Some of my best friends are staunch Prody Rangers fans, including British soldiers too. The pricks that kicked of in Glasgow did represent a minority of rangers fans....they took there chance to start a f***ing battle...same pricks that ruined Manchester for you decent fans. I know there will have been some Celtic fans there last night too. I made my choice on tons of reading, TV and mostly FB clips. I thought we could do it and it didn't turn out that way. The more Westminster go back on there promises the worse this will get. Hell f***ing mend them bud....he'll mend them
mushroom 13,261
So what you are saying is we should give in to demands straight away with no real plan??
lukey 1,621
Labs, please believe me here mate as I was there standing watching it all with my mother wife and sister, there wasn't any riots or battles, there was a couple of wee scuffles and a few rushes towards crowds of yes voters but chanting only. I think the police were a bit too soon to start stepping in and causing a big divide as for a couple of hours George square was mixed. When we got down we were traped on a street with a line of standing police on one side and a line of horses on the other, all they were separating was us from other pro union supporters it's was crazy we jut wanted into George square, they pushed us up Buchanan street then when they seen we were quite happy getting to the Donald dewar steps they had a change of mind and started pushing us back to George square asking us over a microphone to please return to where they weren't letting us go! So yeah we went back, the when the square was full again they allowed a group of yes supporters onto the edge of George square and when they got there they charged in with the horses to separate us all witch they had to by that time, after that the police had to focus on pushing the yes folk away lol it was so in organised the whole thing tbh but not all were there causing trouble. Joe1888 672
Theres loads of vids and photos showing different mate, heres some, doesnt including yes supporter getting stabed, fire at the herald ( only paper to support yes ) wee lass getting surrounded saltire flag removed and more Yes supporters planned to meet at the square, soon were chased away, led to both on either side with police in middle No supporters were promised more powers 19th wasnt met, everything else is in doubt because the 3 cant agree... We seen this coming Only time will tell, 1.6 million voted yes, those numbers could rise if we get shafted once again. Edited September 20, 2014 by Joe1888

I had planned on going last week for any celebrations, then I decided not to, with all the bile being posted on Facebook. But then I thought, well why not? The yes voters had 3 days in the square no one interrupted them so why did yes have to be there to protest knowing people were going there? Also my 14yo sister had been seen heading down and that's why my mum and sister came. And I've already said I've said there was at most a couple of kick and punches thrown, and by far the biggest trouble maker in the square was a yes voter and thanks to joe for showing a pic of him kicking into someone of the ground the guy with yellow zipper on I know for a fact as I was next to him a few times shouting abuse while loads of police around him. I've seen 10 times worse scenes in town outside the cathouse in broad daylight. Joe, most of those pics you put on are people flying union flags show me the "riots"

Brigzy 1,298
Joe, you were "yes"s greatest cheerleader on here, and you only really had Lab and Grant supporting you. "Yes" lost by a far greater margin than any one predicted, (I thought it could go either way, and possibly a very narrow "yes" win), but the Sottish people have spoken with their votes, and it's pretty clear... why won't you accept it ?
lukey 1,621
Well that would be the same idiots I've already said were there to cause trouble yes! I agree no place! Joe get me the worse clips will ye I might have missed something. And no the blonde lassie who was running about trying to demand police to lift people for flying a union flag wasn't my wee sister. I suppose these people at the ed of the clip weren't causing part of the trouble all night?? http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=zCC0KyNtzaI
