Unfortunately a lot of English are sick of hearing how England holds the Scottish back.   This vote has done nothing but fracture the union and Scotland.

I'm absolutely disgusted at the fighting in George square Glasgow yesterday, the whole of Scotland were given a choice and the choice was made, no one is any less a scot for voting no and no one is mo

I cant believe there are all these pages arguing who does this and who said that, at the end of the day either vote yes or no on the 18th, there is absolutely no need for all this hostility over it. J

IMO this is a really serious vote for you Scottish lads, there are some interesting views on the reasons why independence would be a good thing for Scotland however there is FAR too much uncertainty and too many in answered questions voting yes is nothing more than a gamble.

It's like the bloke who's got fed up with his job and leaves sticking two fingers up at his boss on the way out the door, it feels great at the time but a year later when he's still un employed and broke it may not have the same feeling.

If I had to vote I would be thinking what I'm going to tell my grand kids when I voted for Indepenance and it all goes tits up.

Below staement from todays news,

Meanwhile, a study by Deutsche Bank said a Yes vote for Scottish independence would "go down in history as a political and economic mistake" on a par with the failures by the Federal Reserve in America that triggered the Great Depression in the 1930s.

It warned that Scotland risked a similar depression if voters backed the Yes campaign on Thursday, and described the desire for independence as an "incomprehensible" one which could have negative consequences "far beyond" what people had imagined".

Well glasgow city centre is alight today to say the least lol! It's like a street party for the yes voters, although I must admit I'm still pretty confident there will be a different kind of street party down there end of next week!!
