Unfortunately a lot of English are sick of hearing how England holds the Scottish back.   This vote has done nothing but fracture the union and Scotland.

I'm absolutely disgusted at the fighting in George square Glasgow yesterday, the whole of Scotland were given a choice and the choice was made, no one is any less a scot for voting no and no one is mo

I cant believe there are all these pages arguing who does this and who said that, at the end of the day either vote yes or no on the 18th, there is absolutely no need for all this hostility over it. J

Yous keeping trying to scare a no vote, like no campaign. Scots can see past it.. Whats the risk of staying in union???? How's the nhs down south

The uk is the 4th most unequal country in the developed world..

Joe, I'm sure you are aware that the NHS in Scotland is already devolved to the Scottish parliament. Salmond is bare faced lying when he says Westminster will privatise the NHS in Scotland...... Only Salmond and the Scottish parliament have the power to do that.

Its well explained what the risk is, how it will effect the nhs... nice try

What do you mean, nice try ? I'm right, and if you are as informed as you think, then you'll know I am.

with the nhs rapidly getting privatised down south, so far the scottish gov has protected the nhs, even with the previous cuts to the budget.. as long as we are part of the uk scotlands budget is decided by the uk gov, even though we make enough to pay for current services. all big parties are on record saying more cuts are on the way. cuts to the english nhs through being privatised will also lead to cuts up here.. the only way to make sure the nhs is safe is by voting yes

its a similar story to improved childcare the scottish gov would implement, they have the powers at the moment but the taxes generated from it would flow straight to westminister instead of scotland... scotland wouldnt see any of it, there for couldnt aford it under the uk gov setup

scotland has 7% control of £, lets make it 100%

In reality mate you and us are the same, in as much as we can't afford any of it, we can not even afford to pay the interest on the national debt each year.

The difference between the interest we can afford to pay and the interest owed is the deficit.

Most of the bail out was to Scottish banks, but as a union we all shared the debt.

Short memories the Scottish.

I notice the Irish are big enough to appreciate the help given and will often say as much.

thats the thing, debt scotland didnt need or want.. our countrys want different things, scotland is centre left south is centre right

i thought someone would mention the banks

another VERY good vid, on banks this time

Surely if its a close vote either way or the othere there will be nearly 50% of scots hacked off with the other nearly 50% or whatever. Could lead to a very unstable and resentful situation in scotland, its those sorts of highly emotive national upheavals that could potentially lead to militancy.

You talk like all English want to keep Scotlands membership in this Union and all Scottish want to leave...... When the reality is most English don't give a shit and of the ones that do a worrying percentage want them to f**k off and stop moaning. As for the Scottish it looks like they're split down the middle. So from your shite metaphor, we have a bipolar woman and a fella that quite frankly doesn't give a f**k.

Has anyone else noted how rubbish the 'No' campaign has been?

It's currently being lead by Conservatives, right? Why is it so rubbish a campaign? Is it because the conservatives are to rubbish? Maybe.

Here's my 2 cents:

Scotland is a dominantly Labour voting area. If Scotland was to become independent, there would be no chance that Labour would ever get into government again. Any wonder why the Conservatives are not trying too hard? Could it all just be a big game of 'acting' like you want Scotland to stay when in actual fact a Conservative government would dominate parliament without Scotland's Labour vote?

I think it's all just a big political game.

Sorry you are wrong.

The campaign has been led by Labour, TV debates by Alister Darling, Gordon Brown been doing a bit.

The Conservatives have kept quite a low profile for obvious reasons.

The problem with the NO campaign is it has been too sober, clinical and negative.

If you want to rally the troops you need to stir up a bit of nationalistic pride like the YES campaign has with it's Hollywood pseudo historic Braveheart bollocks.

Unfortunately the traitor left in England do not have a patriotic bone in their bodies, so they were incapable of projecting a positive image of Geat Britain.
