Joe1888 672
cracks me up. the chancellor said again on Sunday morning without any uncertainty there will be no monitory union if you vote yes, the prime minster and all the opposition have said there will be no monitory union, but Salmond just keeps hanging you on to a fantasy that its all bluff, didnt they also say no more devo powers etc two years ago? what are they saying now... also has there attempts to mislead/scare voters been proved.. good support over belfast hills today, support growing everywhere Edited September 8, 2014 by Joe1888
Born Hunter 17,775
f**k it, you lot want the pound? Have it. Take the BoE, it's yours. We'll start a new currency. would the strength of the pound drop if scotland wasnt in a currency union( its already droping at the moment), would that have an effect on the rest of uk aswell, as masssive debts, balence of payments, extra trade costs etc etc it makes sense to everyone... NO, to YOU! But you're not the ones that get to make that decision. So again, the strategy is 'cross our fingers and hope'. There are certain thing I would support alliance/union in but currency isn't one of them.
