trappa 518
Anyone have an idea as to why my pond hasnt got any frogspawn in it this year? Theres frogs in there, ive seen up to three at any one time though there may be more. Weve had frogspawn the past few years but this year its zilch. Apart from either all my frogs are same sex or ive got all gay bumboy frogs ive no idea. Anyone?
Malt 379
Wrong time of year now, but there were plenty of tadpoles in the local brook down the road last spring.. maybe conditions weren't suitable round your way or something?
The one 8,529
Saw plenty frog spawn earlier as malt said a couple of weeks ago walking the dogs there where small frogs trying to hop across the road
bobcullen79 1,495
Ive not see much this year, when other years its been in every puddle available. Guess its like all nature, when conditions are ideal, you get a population explosion. I did find a toadlet packing the nets away the other day though. Phone pic unfortunately.
