hutchey 147
Finally, after a lot of mucking about I am back on track with he 243. 2 tight groups of 5 shots at 50 yards and all was well. Will try out to 75 and 100 when I get in from work. Quote Link to post

I've asked for both! Too many choices, I might just ask for .22CF to be added so I can decide later. Why .22-250? Quote Link to post
charlie caller 3,654
Why .22-250 having used both, let me say .22-250 is one of my all time favourite calibres, if I did not have a .243 which I use for fox and deer with the same super accurate home load, I would have one tomorrow, the .223 is a good round, but the .22-250 just takes it to another level, its basically point and shoot out to 300 yards, and works superbly on the small deer, I have a huge fondness for the .222 which I would have over a .223 any time, but if you want the very best foxing and small deer round that you can push faster and flatter than the other .22 centerfires, even the superb .220 swift, then .22-250 is the way to go.
