Slightly swollen, what are ferret bites like ? Get infected or you reckon it's just swollen from the bite ? Fecking things like jeckyl and Hyde ! Quote Link to post

hunter1 63
I had a hob that every time I pick it up it would bite and hold on. In the end I put some mustard on my finger at went to pick him up and he bit the finger with the mustard on after that day he never bit again and he turned out to be the best ferret i have ever had for hunting. So try putting some mustard on your finger mate. Quote Link to post

I had the same sort off idea to stop my girls house dog stealing food I would leave some food out and cover it in tobacco hot sauce it didn't take long to stop it. Quote Link to post
Katsdad 31
I just flick them on the end of nose and it seems to work, mine when they are playing and running across my shoulders wil sometimes give a playful nip on my ear but I've never had one bite and hang on even the 2 I got off a guy on here now know what's what, and as said plenty of handling we play with ours for at least 15 mins each day longer at weekends when weather is good they go out in the garden with there toys and play and the dogs play with them as well. muddy210 34
nine times out of ten they wont let go because there swinging in the air put them animals legs onto the floor and they usually let go as for flicking on the nose it only pisses them of for next time Quote Link to post

The one 8,522
You might want to keep bursting the scab and flush it out with something like dettol as if there's away bacteria in there mouth the fangs could trap it deep in the bite Quote Link to post
