There you go, wanting to be English again......if you want to be English just say so man, don't be shy   I still think it's a shame that a club like yours is In the state it's in pal.

Its not rocket science football is all about money and Celtic cannot compete but over the years they do seem to find some good talent from around the world but cannot keep them and they are sold on to the English premier ship and theres always a few decent youngsters come on every season ....I think that Celtic have faired well over the years considering there financial sponsorship compared to the teams in the bigger leagues around Europe and we have to remember that we are a team that plays in a sub standard league the problem is Celtic are too big a team for the SPL hopefully one day we get to the ENglish premiership it will be the best thing for Scottish football and would certainly add something to the English premiership .

Previous managers who done well in europe have a bad first season on europe.. We do well with the resources we have, fans would like the board to spend alot more.. Id rather be debt free in this day and age and give the new manager time. Celtic are still a massive club, only a few down south can say the same. Things will change in time, we wont ever play in the epl. if we did.. It wouldnt be long untill we were in the top 4..

Top 4 in epl ffs joe wisen up lol

the reason i say that mate is, celtic are a massive club, can pull in big crowds weekly no problem, the atmosphere is well known, commented on by many top players and managers over the years. lets say we were in the epl, who wouldnt invest big in a club like celtic? there would be many offers, same goes for the smaller team in glasgow :D the rangers

I havent delved into these Celtic debates for a while but you seem a sensible enough chap Joe.....tell me....where has this " big crowds " thing at Celtic sprung from ?......If im not wrong its only really the last 10 -15 years that Celtic have drawn decent crowds ?...........In the 80,s and early 90,s there average home attendances were around 25k...................go back to the 1930s/40s they were lucky to draw 15k..............go back further to the start of the century and they could barely get 10k......ok we know throughout time they draw a big crowd for the Rangers game but even the last few years its back down in the mid 40,s....in a 60k ground.......If on average the ground is a quarter empty how can that be classed as big crowds....its like Max with his bums on seats theory :D

Its similar to this worldwide following, are we to believe that every person of a certain heritage who left these shores 100 years ago and their descendants are all Celtic fans ?......Im told Celtic like to claim 40 million fans in North America yet the official supporters club of North America has 10 thousand members !

I totally understand the big fish in a small pond thing but i think sometimes you boys do get a little bit carried away.

its only been since about 98 we have had a top stadium of 60,000.. the one before was only good for one thing, being demolished. since rangers f****d up crowds have droped, i also think a mixture of kick off times and the price of everything these days has played a part. theres no doubt we have a massive following world wide, theres no doubt if we were in the epl or this european league thats been talked about parkhead would be full every home match once again, and we would continue to take a good away support.

like i said, if we went into the epl as we are, a massive club with a support thats known through the world for home and away games, debt free, a top stadium, top training complex, top football history... who wouldnt want to invest in that?

if the chelsea owner can fly over and say thats the club i want, what interest do you think a club like celtic would bring..

the above is never in doubt, go search the many top managers and world class players that have spoken about celtic, messi etc etc.. wasnt long ago fergie said he wished utd fans were like celtic fans, not something he would make up, being a rangers fan that would have been tough to say.

your just on the wind up, looking for a debate lol, remind me who do you support?
