sparkiemike 0 Posted September 29, 2014 Report Share Posted September 29, 2014 I insulated all the walls and ceeling in my kennels and fitted heaters in both on stats and the heaters only go on if the dogs are under the weather or been out working in freezing conditions but they would probably be fine if left alone but it's to late once you find your dog frozen in the morning because it does happen Quote Link to post

Go Fetch LTD 1 Posted October 28, 2014 Report Share Posted October 28, 2014 HI use a tubular heater x2 across a false floor in my kennel, providing 'cheap under floor heating' both on a thermostat, all walls are insulated and PVC lined There is a heat lamp wired in above but the thermostat adjust so it only comes in once the tubes are struggling to keep it warm.
