For Sale Anschutz 1517 .17Hmr

I have decided to move into the world of centrefire and as a result I've had to decide to sell one of my rifles to fund a .223 which will serve as a better tool to control the ever increasing fox population throughout my area. Reluctantly the rifle I've decided to sell is my Anschutz 1517 in .17HMR.

 

Background Information

 

I purchased this rifle secondhand from the Countryman of Derby a couple of years ago and had lots of enjoyment with it. The rifle has accounted for plenty of vermin and a couple of foxes and has remained pint-point accurate throughout.

 

As some of you may know I have a YouTube channel which I've used to showcase the HMR and reveal it's potential out to ranges of up to 200 yards. If you're after quality you'll struggle to get much better than the Annie and the walnut, thumbhole stocks makes it one of the most comfortable rifle's I've had the pleasure to shoot.

 

 

Condition

 

I take great pride in caring for things in my possession and the rifle is in the same great condition it was when purchased. Only real marks to mention are the usual small indentations from the Harris bipod which should be a standard feature for those wishing to unlock the potential of the HMR. The walnut stock has been cared for through regular applications of tru-oil which was generously soaked up. The metal work is in great condition with no signs of rust whatsoever and has been treated with ballistol oil after every outing.

- x1 4 shot magazine

- x50 Hornady V-Max (the preferred ammo)

- Whatever 20 grain CCI Gamepoints I have left

 

Please note, scope, sling, mod and bipod will not be included

The price I'd like for the rifle is £500 no offers - if I had the money I'd keep it. I'd take payment via cheque, bank transfer or cash on collection. I'll happily post RFD to RFD but the buyer would need to pay for the handling charge.
