Phil Win 79
Thanks. He set it all up by himself, got all his info off the net and seems to have built up a peaceful fish community.

Wullz 408
Thats how we all start, wee community tank, then you end up on the African cichlids and before you know it you are overrun with tanks and fish! I got to the stage there was no money changing hands with the local shops, I was trading young fish for gear and other fish......its a good hobby.....very interesting, but you can get sucked in, like anything else I guess!!

mackem 26,383
got a marine setup now very expensive to setup but worth it I think. i was invited to a guys workshop the other day,he grows marine corals, has some rare ones apparently, very shallow tanks some of them,he uses HPS lamps and ballasts with 400w bulbs,he was also experimenting with L.E.D units with different spectrums for some of his tanks, strange hobby and it didn't look as visually pleasing as fish but he was certainly enthusiastic. staffs riffraff 1,068
It's an art form keeping and growing a good reef tank but I prefer the soft corals with fish add I like the movement it's sort of memorising I will get another in few years
