That's old news.

The law in N.I. is that it's illegal to course hares in an organised coursing event.

It's not illegal to course hares with running dogs if the coursing is not a competition.

In other words a couple of lads out with their lurchers on permission hunting hares are not breaking the law.

 

In the Republic it's the opposite

Hares can only be hunted or coursed under licence by beagles, harriers or coursed at an official coursing meet run under the rules of the ICC.

Coursing hares with lurchers is illegal in the R.O.I.

 

But in the North the USPCA don't give a f**k about the law because as everyone knows that that Phillpott is well known for making up evidence and telling lies.

Look at what's happened to terrier work. It's perfectly legal yet terrier men in the North are being victimised left , right and centre.

Cops were sent out till me last season for coursing he had just read that article before he came out .I explained it was not a coursing event as I was on my own he female friend was laughing her head off he jumped in his car an told me to enjoy the rest of my day.
